@Superhightec
inform yourself about Allen Carr’s EASYWAY method to stop smoking, talk to your dad about that after you have possibly read the book(u can find it everywere) and make your dad read it. i assure you that is a great book.
Superhightec
Sure, get him to read Allen Carrs Easyway to stop smoking. If he reads it, and finishes it, he will probably quit smoking. Forget nicotine replacement and scary video clips, that won’t help any smoker. Try some good old knowledge. Better yet, you read it first and you will be able to better explain than he can himself what it means to be a smoker. Because right now, you’re just annoying the crap out your dad.
@Superhightec whenevr he try to smoke ask him to chew gum
Man Im so angry! My dad smokes and no matter hw many times I try to show him these quit smokinh videos he just keeps on doing it again! Its annoying me! Anyone have any other suggestions to get my dad to quit smoking?
I smoked cigarettes since i was 13. im 20 now and i quit 3 months ago and i couldn’t have done it without the e-cigarette.
You probably didn’t see it as a sacrifice; When you “give up” smoking, it’s hard. When you rightly understand that there is nothing to “give up”, and only things to gain, then quitting smoking isn’t hard for anyone. Even long-term chain-smokers would find it easy to quit as long as they obtain the right mental attitude.
People should stop trying to “give up” smoking and start to “get out” of smoking. Seen?
@luigiK1 yeah maybe your right i mean 3 years is long but not that long and yeah your right about the “drive” thing
three years is a long time but not that long and i think some people have less “drive” than others naturally
I don’t know why for people its hard to quit smoking i mean i smoked for 3 years i think and then one day i just said “i quit”and i did i didn’t have any problem with it but maybe its just me.
you are so right
just quit smoking NOW…nothing else..start gymnastics
yeh ai agree totally – I think that most of society is b washes too – in most things so its refreshing to see this confirmed – it has so far tx
yes, that’s true. but if you really try to listen what he says, sooner or later you’ll understand how all of us have been fooled to believe that we like and need cigarretes. It’s not like that- only your brainwashed mind telling you so. Once you truly understand that- you’ll never want to smoke again. i think Carr’s book is the best way- it helped me and 4-5 of my close friends. I hope it can help you too. all the best!:)
its good but he doesnt actually have a technique its just him talking hios mind you know –
@purekarma28
believe me allen carr is the solution. find his book the easyway to stop smoking- i never had any problems with his method and i am finally free:)))))
I will help you and you will be a happy non smoker.
cheers to all ex smokers and those who want to quit!
@purekarma28 try the nicotene inhaler, it worked for me
I want to quit smoking so bad now..my throat has been burning lately and i feel sluggish. i tried chantix but it gv me bad side effects,the patch made me sick ..the longest ive gone was five months and it was great i used exercise and art as an outlet..im been upset about some things and so called friends are quick to offer cigs and i slowly started again. my family is worried and my dr i hv a tweenager and dont want to be a bad example..any suggestions? i hope i can overcome this
@GetDamage Now, I don’t think about it anymore. It feels good knowing that you are in control of yourself. A lot of people get discourage when they relapse, and give up. I suggest staying positive. Just keep at it and you will eventually succeed. It only get easier each time you try. Once you get past three months, it gets a lot easier. And it’s okay to relapse a few times. That is normal. Good luck bro!
@Jehangt3 I think it’s a good idea to take up a sport or a hobby like martial arts. It will definitely shape up your mind and health. try kyokushin karate. I have a lot of friends who smokes. I am the only one who successfully stopped. All my buddies are okay with it after awhile. Most of them had tried to quit at sometime or another. It took many tries, at least 20 times. It just get easier and easier each time you try to quit.
I just had my three year jubillee of being a nonsmoker, after 22 years of smoking a pack per day. I am quite proud of it.
50 euros a month… I save $140.00 dollars a month here in usa wooooo
I actually throw it in jar and do nothing with it… savings.
Congrats!
ive stopped 3 months ago after smoking for 12 yrs
after I stopped smoking my life improved because:
1. I am actually happy when I think about smoking, because I stopped.
2. My mouth smells better.
3. When I workout or run I do not caught out stuff 5 minutes after.
4. My stamina and performance improved by about 600% (also due to training but it would be impossible before because I always got sick or caughed out stuff).
5. I don’t smell like cigarettes.
6. I actually smell things now ![]()
7. I save at least 50 Euro monthly.
Tell me what you're thinking...
