  4. Here’s an even nastier thing than paying the kids to learn:

Tell the parent of a low-achieving kid that you will PAY THE PARENT IF THE KID PASSES. Then we’ll see how badly the parents want the kid to succeed.

  18. White poverty is often ignored because (thanks to the media) it’s stereotyped as a “Black” thing.

But if you read the books “All Souls” or “Nickel and Dimed” you’ll see that when Whites are poor/hopeless it’s for the same reasons as Black people; teen pregnancy, drink, drugs, neglect of education, absentee fathers.

    Povert knows no color.

  20. LMFAO. Dont you idiots know that white people get evicted also when their lease is up and the landlord needs, or wants them to move? Oh BTW, in urban areas where whites are, we get 30 days for evictions, not 6 months. Of course we don’t have the ACLU on our side.

  32. I think JAMIE6SUPERSTAR was referring to the few white children (perhaps it was only that one child?) in that specific class; if so, I agree with him. A white child in the same classroom as a black child is getting the same education as that black child. If that education is flawed, there is no reason both the white & the black child should equally benefit from attempts to fix it. Anything that helps students specifically because of their race is racist. But this should go without saying.

Please educate yourself without bias and realize we are all better off working on bettering the whole. Or please move to a nation that allows you that you produce notihing and take everything from the rest , how is that accepted? yeash

And to the republic for which it stands.

  66. We the people will stand up for change of the current health care system! Because Numbers don’t lie! The great problem passing heath care reform is GOOD OLD AMERICAN GREED!

US population 300,000,000 and 50,000,000 are uninsured, what is the dollar amount being spent monthly/annually for the 250,000,000 insured, that pay an average monthly premium of $500.00?

    250,000,000
    x 500=
    $125,000,000,000.00 Billion dollars Per month
    1,500,000,000,000.00 Trillion dollars Per year

    This is our PROBLEM

  78. Hey i have hear ron paul state that government didint get involved in health care until 1963. However i want to know where i can find that information. An article, newpapper, or a documentary? I am doing research but cant find it. HELP ANYONE

  80. i think this is a good film for health care

  81. callouschristian on Mon, 24th May 2010 7:55 pm
  82. Last I checked doctors charge minimally for medicare patients but if they know insurance companies are paying, they charge at least twice as much more. Profit greed driving quality down, prices up, and turning the most industrialized nation into the nation with the highest infant mortality rate among other sad statistics…the only thing it does well is enrich a few people. Highjacked by greed – a rape of the free market and the American People collectively.

  83. tonybonez on Mon, 24th May 2010 8:36 pm
  84. Thats the problem, we have had government intervention in the health care system for years now, so the government tells drug companies and others, dont worry about pricing, we will pay no matter what.

If there was a free market for health care allowed to operate, then it would drive prices down very fast. Look at the fields for lazer eye surgery, they have shot down so fast because they operate in the private sector

  85. theporksicle on Mon, 24th May 2010 9:19 pm
  86. Why should someone have to pay for another man’s healthcare? Its up to individuals to buy their own, those who can’t will be covered by charities. Its not the government’s job to involve itself in the medical business, its job is to protect citizens from aggression and foreign invasion.

  87. fooschnikens on Mon, 24th May 2010 9:48 pm
  88. I believe in universal healthcare but there should be exclusions; for example, if you’ve ever been convicted of a felony then you don’t get any coverage. Plus, the government needs to invest more money in medical scholarships and better facilities so we have adequate manpower and resources.

  89. catndryer on Mon, 24th May 2010 9:57 pm
  90. SICKO the movie was full of lies and exagerations……………..but Health Care IS broken. Here is how you improve Health Care………….make the Legislators in Washington buy their own insurance on the free market……..not through any government group……………..THEN….THEY’LL DO THE THINGS IT TAKES TO MAKE IT FAIR FOR EVERYONE.

  91. LokiMythos on Mon, 24th May 2010 10:48 pm
  92. Kaiser! Holy Frack! why is Paul talking to these scumbags! NOOOOOOO!

  93. callouschristian on Mon, 24th May 2010 11:01 pm
  94. I’m sure he does and that’s why Sicko was such a good movie. R Paul is simply pushing a broken system from which he profits. Since when is it ok for profit making organizations to change their prices depending on who’s paying? That is not free market enterprise. That is lying cheating and stealing and Ron Paul thinks it’s just fine when the medical industry does it and you pay. That is also the “free market” lie that put republicans in the hole.

  95. callouschristian on Mon, 24th May 2010 11:32 pm
  96. An interview with Ron Paul by Kaiser (well at least they’re honest about the identities here). Calling medical care an “entitlement”. This is crap. So is Ron Paul. People die of preventable disease, we bail out every company Ron Paul sits on the board of, money he’s NOT entitled to. He’s even worse than the parties and if you don’t believe me research which state has the most uninsured children. He is a waste of air.

I ‘m not a native speaker, so i am not forced to write and speaking the way you wait me to do. besides at this page from youtube is not an english class, neither i am at english class, otherwrise i would accept your advice in a good mood, so here it is a debate about Ron Paul. The important it is the comunication and comprehention among people and many people write incorrectly in the internet, i am not the only one. Give advice for other people too.
